Commissioning of the First Free Primary HealthCare Facility at Zamfara State.

Victims of Violence Foundation made history in Zamfara state on the 5th of August 2017 as they commissioned the first free primary healthcare and first response and counselling facility for all victims of violence related cases in Zamfara State. 

Clean Water Initiative in North-East Nigeria

Victims of Violence foundation partnered with WaterStep to execute its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects. A partnership that has brought health and hope to people affected by violence in the northeast of Nigeria.

VoV Alternative Schooling Intervention Program (ASIP).

Education for children is a fundamental human right.

On the 26th of May 2016, Victims of Violence Foundation launched an Alternative Schooling Intervention Program (ASIP). The program is aimed at providing free basic education for all the children out of school in Nigeria especially the IDPS and the Nomads. The program also brings Schooling close to the less privileged. 

Distribution of Relief Items at IDP Camps

Over the years, Victims of Violence Foundation have visited many IDP camps at different locations such as Abaji, Wasa village, Karmajiji, Kuje, Panda, Wura village, Jimeta, Mbamba, Yola, Gwoza, Masaka, and Niger Republic.  Relief items were distributed and the IDPs had access to drugs and medical doctors on site.

First Aid and Emergency Response Training

Victims of Violence Foundation in association with NEMA, SEMA and Skilled Workers Nigeria has conducted first aid and emergency response trainings for VoV staff and IDPs in Nigeria. 

Commissioning of Boreholes

Victims of Violence Foundation commissioned boreholes at IDP camps so that IDPs will no longer buy water for drinking and domestic use.

Donation of Bed Linens and Disinfectants to Abuja Bomb Blast Victims

On the 29th of June 2014, Victims of Violence Foundation visited Maitama hospital in Abuja. They donated bed linens and disinfectants to victims of Abuja bomb blast.

Fund Raising Events

Victims of Violence Foundation organized fund raising events which include a charity walk and an outdoor games event for children. This events were organized to raise funds to support the free medical mission commissioned to help Women and children displaced by the insurgency.

 Medical Outreaches

Victims of Violence Foundation have carried out several medical outreaches at IDPs camps in Nigeria.

Young Marshal Club

Our young marshal club is active in Plateau state and Abuja. Children enrolled in the program usually engage in humanitarian activities, camping and they are sensitized on how to avoid and report sexual abuse or any form of child abuse.
